Health fairness starts with community voice

People’s Health Project helps communities turn lived experience into documented public evidence, national visibility, and organized action capable of shaping real-world decisions.

An initiative of AHEA

Community experience should not disappear simply because it has not yet been recognized by institutions or reflected in official data.

Listen. Share. Act. creates a structured path from what people are experiencing to documented evidence and focused public action.

What a PHP campaign can make possible

Public evidence that lasts

Create a Community Health Impact Report that preserves the concern, supporting evidence, and community perspective as part of the public record.

National visibility and support

Launch through People’s Health Project with opportunities to reach wider audiences, invite public participation, and build support beyond the place where the issue began.

A diverse group of people at a protest rally. One woman is speaking or shouting into a megaphone, while others cheer and raise their hands. It appears to be a lively outdoor demonstration.

Influence on real-world decisions

Bring community evidence to people and institutions with the power to act and help build momentum toward practical change.

Lead the work - or help move it forward

People with direct experience of an issue - as well as others committed to addressing it - can pursue formal campaign leadership through AHEA membership.

Members may submit a fully developed campaign for review or apply for Community Health Leadership Training when they need structured development support.

Lead a campaign

Anyone can support People’s Health Project campaigns. Opportunities may include sharing relevant experiences, amplifying campaign information, and participating in public calls to action.
